Airdrie, AB, JANUARY 18 2012: What better way to launch a completely new restaurant to Calgary than by giving away free food? ChopStix, a quick-service Chinese restaurant is holding the Grand Opening of its signature location in the Sierra Springs Shopping Center. 130, 3013 Sierra Springs Drive, SE in Airdrie on JANUARY 19, 2012.

“We did our homework, and knew that Airdrie was an incredible location to launch a restaurant such as ours. There’s simply nothing like this anywhere in Canada,” says ChopStix International Franchising president, Gary Bikman.

To celebrate, ChopStix will be giving the first 100 customers who come in during the grand opening day a free meal each week, for 52 weeks.

“We know the crowds will be big--and we anticipate people lining up early for this--but we’d rather spend money by giving people our delicious food instead of on ads,” says Bikman.

“We expect huge things from this location, and we’ll do virtually anything to make sure people have an amazing experience and tell all of their friends about us.”
